As a result, there are locations throughout the state that have amazing artifacts from that period. The Hermitage, President Andrew Jackson’s historic home, is certainly one of those places. Additionally, many hard-fought battles in the civil rights movement were fought in Tennessee. Many historic places related to that period of American history are also all around.
