While touring a cemetery may be a bit macabre for some, LaFayette Cemetery is a popular tourist attraction in New Orleans. The unique geography in the area led to the creation of elaborate above-ground tombs which are featured in many films and television shows, and there are quite a few famous people interred in the cemetery.
