Kenefick Park is home to two of the Union Pacific's most powerful locomotives: the Centennial No. 6900 — the world's largest diesel-electric locomotive, and the Big Boy No. 4023 — the world's largest steam locomotive. The beautifully landscaped park hosts native plants and grasses grown by staff from the nearby Lauritzen Gardens.
